The African Leopard is one of the most beautiful of all cats. To see one stalking through the brush is an unforgettable sight. They are solitary hunters always thought to hunt by night only but hungry leopard can often be seen in daylight. They are cunning, unpredictable and have an amazing ability to adapt to almost any environment.

"My painting shows a leopard in a favorite hang out, high up on a kopje (rocky hill) in my native Zimbabwe (Rhodesia)".
