The Chase - Cheetah & Impala

"I thought of calling this painting "50/50". I want to give the impression that the antelope have 50% chance of escape or giving the Cheetah a 50% chance of making a kill".

A Cheetah chases a herd of Impala in open country. Most of the Impala have already taken off ahead in a cloud of dust. Those left behind include the dominate male and three females. The Cheetah has singled out one animal he hopes to catch and kill; maybe an older and slower female or inexperienced younger animal. Cheetah catch their prey with a burst of speed getting close enough to trip the back legs of the pursued antelope.
